For their wedding, they wanted a venue that captured their love for nature and the outdoors. The Downtown Market in Grand Rapids, with its greenhouse wedding venue design and lush greenery, offered the perfect setting. Despite the unpredictable Midwest weather, this venue brought the outdoors inside, combining elegance with a vibrant, garden-inspired atmosphere. Its accessibility to guests traveling from out of town made it the ideal choice for Hannah and Jacob. They had nearly 90% of their guest list coming from afar.

Working with a talented Grand Rapids wedding planner, they were able to bring their vision to life with ease. The carefully curated floral arrangements from a local Grand Rapids florist (Sycamore Floral Co. is truly the best!). Fresh flowers add an extra layer of natural beauty to any event space. While this amazing Grand Rapids catering ( Cafe de Miro ) provided an unforgettable dining experience. Lastly, a ice cream from a local Grand Rapids Ice Cream business joined us for the reception. Hannah did not go to a grand rapids wedding dress store ( though, I highly recommend True Society) but instead, she went to one local to her. Hannah’s dress is from Posh Bride in San Diego.
The reception was an unforgettable highlight, with Hannah and Jacob hiring a swing dance instructor to bring their love for dancing to life. Whether at home or on the dance floor, their shared joy in movement and music was evident. With their wedding photographer capturing every playful and cinematic moment, their day was documented in all its beauty. The documentary style photography truly reflected the authenticity of their love.
